Do you provide all course material?
What is a Support Hub
We refer to all cour campuses as Support Hubs. Every distance learner must submit their completed Unit Standards to these “support hubs” at least once a month.
Which Courses Can I Enroll For?
We offer the following courses via distance learning:
- NQF Level 4 Occupational Certificate
- NQF Level 5 Diploma in Early Chidhood Development
- Inclusive Education: NQF Level 5 Higher Certificate
How does this distance learning actually work?
Once you are fully registered as a dl student, you will be provided with your login details. You will receive all the instructions via our automated emailing system. You will thne have access to our DL Platform, from which you will be able login and continue your online classes. The beauty of this is that you can login from anywhere, on any device, at anytime.
What is required of me to be able to access this platform?
Our platform is designed to accept any device; PC Desktop; Tablet; Smartphone. However, we strongly advise that you access your platform from a PC Desktop/McBook as this be the best experience. A Smartphone will NOT give you the best experience.
I am a Contact Student.My work circumstances have changed. Can I change to DL?
Absolutely. We understand that students lives can change after they have enrolled for Contact. Perhaps your work schedule now demands that you cannot attend Saturday Contact Classes. You must however contact our office, who will then initiate the changeover process.
Please Note: This is a Once-Off process. You cannot later on decide to change back again.
I am not very technical. Do you have any guides or how-tos to assist me as a tech novice?
Absolutely. We have ensured that our DL Platform is catered for students with varying technical abilities. Whether you are a tech novice or seasoned tech user, our platform has been setup with simplicity in mind.
Firstly, after you have registered and received your welcome email, it will give you detailed instructions on wht to do next.
Secondly, you will also be provided with a “Onboarding Document“, that will give you a very detailed guide on how to navigate our platform.
